We are going to need more information! Some tanning bed companies made tanning beds using several different sizes of tanning lamps, and with some models, there is no easy way to tell without looking at the lamp. You MAY be able to tell what lamp you need by looking at the lamp, without removing it. On most tanning lamps, there are a series of numbers that designate the lamp. You need to go view the lamp and write down the number on the lamp. Most lamps have a number on them that looks like this F73T12B50 or DSS71-T12-100w But what does all that mean? |

F71 (S71) | T12 | B, P or BL | 50 | 100W |
This is the size. This is what we need to continue. | This is the diameter of the lamp in 1/8 inch increments. | This usually indicates the color of the phosphors used. | This is the UVB rating. 42= 4.2% 50=5%, etc. |
This tells the wattage, 80, 100, 140, 160. |
Don't worry if your lamp doesn't have the same numbers, or the exact same order. The most important number is the "F" or "S", which will tell us the size and pin type. Keep in mind, a tanning bed with a face tanner MAY have F71 AND F59 lamps, and you will need the numbers off both before ordering. For now, we will only worry about the long lamps.
