You have chosen RDC style lamps More than likely, this is a 73" lamp, but we need a little more info just to make sure. You need to physically look at the label on the lamp for a series of numbers. You MAY be able to see it without removing it. You need to go view the lamp and write down the number on the lamp. Most lamps have a number on them that looks like this F72T12B50 or DSS73-T12-100w But what does all that mean? |

| F73 (S73) | T12 | B, P or BL | 50 | 100W |
| This is the size. This is what we need to continue. | This is the diameter of the lamp in 1/8 inch increments. | This usually indicates the color of the phosphors used. | This is the UVB rating. 42= 4.2% 50=5%, etc. |
This tells the wattage, 80, 100, 140, 160. |
Don't worry if your lamp doesn't have the same numbers, or the exact same order. The most important number is the "F" or "S", which will tell us the size and pin type. Keep in mind, a tanning bed with a face tanner MAY have F73 AND F59 or F60 lamps, and you will need the numbers off both before ordering. For now, we will only worry about the long lamps.
