Important Information about Kopec Naturals Sleep with Ease

What is Sleep with Ease?

Sleep with Ease is a transdermal remedy intended to help with symptoms of sleeplessness and snoring. Sleep with Ease can help with symptoms associated with snoring such as congestion, anxiety and stress. Sleep with Ease is not a sedative or a tranquilizer.

What is a transdermal remedy and how does it work?

A transdermal remedy uses the skin as an orifice to bring medicine directly into the bloodstream. A transdermal remedy enters the skin and moves into the bloodstream by passing through cell membranes where the ingredients are identified by the body and taken to where the body needs it most. When you rub oil on specific places, you are in close proximity to some of your body’s main arteries allowing the essential oil to take the quickest path to the inside of your bloodstream. Using a transdermal remedy asks you to think differently about your skin, and asks you to think differently about the way you deal with a condition or problem you’ve been experiencing by rubbing oil on your body to relieve symptoms. Although this application seems like a new and novel way to take care of an internal condition, transdermal remedies were the first medicines ever, and are recently gaining more and more scientific recognition.

What causes snoring?

Snoring is caused from a narrowing of the air passageway at the back of the throat and by a slacking of muscle tone in this passageway. There are many different reasons why snoring can occur. Aging can cause a narrowing and slacking of the passageway, as can congestion, stress, excess weight, poor sleeping posture, certain medications, alcohol, late night eating and a history of smoking. Men have a more narrow airway than women and are more prone to snoring.

Snoring not only affects the person snoring, but also the partner of the person who snores. For the person who snores a restricted air flow into the lungs can interfere with a restful night's sleep. For the partner her lack of sound sleep can cause numerous health problems such as depression and irritability, and can interfere in a couple's intimacy. Sleep with Ease can be used for a complete night of sleep by both partners.

Snoring that is not related to a heart condition or sleep apnea has been shown to respond well to natural treatment. Snoring can be a sign of a serious health problem and should not be taken lightly.

How should I use Sleep with Ease?

Using Sleep with Ease every night before bed can help the body regulate more effectively while sleeping and help the body get a better night’s rest which is essential to good health. As a transdermal remedy Sleep with Ease is most effective when rubbed over the larger arteries such as the chest, neck and under the nose.

What else can I consider to improve my sleep naturally?

1.       Consistent Bedtime: Melatonin, the natural sleep chemical hormone released within the body at night, is released more readily when we go to sleep at the same time every night. The body remembers bedtime and releases the chemical at that same time. If our bedtime varies, adrenalin can kick over the melatonin and sleep becomes difficult.

2. Complete Darkness: Melatonin is only released in complete darkness. Any amount of light even from a digital alarm clock can keep the body from releasing a full dose of melatonin. Keeping the bedroom completely dark can help the body release a full does of melatonin.

3. Avoid Late Night Eating: Any eating after sunset interferes in the body's ability to get a restful night sleep by engaging the body in digestion instead of system rejuvenation and should be avoided. To curb late night hunger cravings consider drinking chamomile tea in place of food.

4. No Alcohol: Alcohol consumption can cause a loss of muscle tone in the back of the throat causing snoring and restricted air flow.

5. Sleep Positions: Sleeping on your right side can help keep airflow and blood flow moving better. Sleeping on your back can narrow the airway at the back of the throat even more. This constriction along with the lack of muscle tone can make snoring more likely to occur.

What else do I have to know about Sleep with Ease?

As with any natural remedy, how you treat your body can influence how effective the remedy works. Sleep with Ease will work best when included in a good regime that includes a consistent bedtime and good bedtime habits. Sleep with Ease can be less effective with the consumption of alcohol in the evening hours, with the consumption of heavy foods such as pizza, ice cream and other greasy or fatty foods that can keep the body from moving into a peaceful rest and can keep breathing passages congested. Sleep with Ease may not be as effective if you lay down after midnight, due to the lack of melatonin available to your body in the early morning hours—even as early as 1am.
