| A Store Tag is a unique bit of code that you add to the HTML in your web pages. It works in the HTML authoring tool of your choice (Microsoft FrontPage, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Yahoo! SiteBuilder, etc.) to help you build e-commerce into the layout of your web site quickly and efficiently.
Store Tags "pull" product information from your Catalog Manager into the layout of your HTML pages. First you set up Catalog Manager with all your product data (including item ID, item name, image, price, etc.). Then you publish your Catalog Manager product database. Now you're ready to set up Store Tags.
As you create HTML item pages, place Store Tags in each of the fields you want to display on your live site. Visit the Store Tag Hub to locate resources and find the specific code you need for your custom Store Tags. To preview Store Tags in action on your site, you must publish and upload your HTML item pages to your Merchant Solutions Web Hosting account.
