Holiday Jiffy Pop and Matching Card This beautiful project was submitted by Linda B. from New York. Who doesn’t love popcorn?! Dress up a popcorn tray and make a matching card. Embellish with some glitter glue and Voila! Perfect gift for a teacher, or your mail carrier, or for that one person on your list who “has everything”! And so simple to make! MATERIALS Jiffy Pop Cardstock Glitter Glue Ribbon or other embellishments (optional) Scissors INSTRUCTIONS 1) Open a blank page in your graphics program and draw a circle 7 ¼ ‘ in diameter. Center it on the page. It will be slightly larger than the top of the Jiffy Pop but you will trim it down before inserting. 2) Place your holiday clipart in the circle and center it on the page. Adjust the clipart for size and placement until you are satisfied with the layout. 3) Print a test page on plain paper. Cut the circle out and test the fit on the Jiffy Pop container by uncrimping the edges of the popcorn holder. Make any adjustments on your screen before printing out on card stock. 4) Embellish the design with glitter glue and allow to dry thoroughly. Cut the circle out and place on top of the Jiffy Pop. Recrimp the edges. 5) Open a blank greeting card style of your choice in your graphics program. Add the matching clipart from the Jiffy Pop and print on another piece of cardstock. Embellish as you did with the popcorn cover and allow to dry. 6) Tie a piece of coordinating ribbon onto the handle of the Jiffy Pop and your wonderful gift is complete!
