ONE MONTH DELAY:  Because non-engraved orders can be returned within 30 days of purchase, we pay commission one month in arrears.  For example, on May 1st commissions are calculated on net sales made between March 1 thru March 31 (the commission calculation period), and checks are issued on the 12th of the month along with a commission statement recapping how your commission was calculated. 

DEFINITION OF NET SALES:  'Net Sales' is the total amount that the customers you referred to us actually paid for their orders, less sales tax (if any), shipping expense, and returned merchandise. 

COMMISSION PERCENT:  Commission is normally 15% of net sales for the commission period.   

REDUCED COMMISSION:  If a customer you referred to Sticky Jewelry used a discount coupon while making his or her purchase, your commission percentage on that sale is reduced by one-half of the customer's discount percentage.  For example, if a customer that you referred purchased $50 worth of jewelry and engraving, but used a 12% discount coupon, your commission would be reduced by 6%.  So, on that order, instead of receiving a $7.50 (15%) commission, you would receive a $4.50 (9%) commission. 

BONUS COMMISSION: If the total Net Sales amount for a calendar month is greater than $5,000, a 20% of commission bonus is paid in addition to your normal commission for the month.  For example, if your commission for a given month was calculated to be $800, and the total Net Sales was over $5,000, then you would receive a bonus that month of $160 (20% of the calculated commission total).

NET SALES BELOW $166:  If your commission for any calendar month is less than $25, then no check is issued for that period, but your net sales total for the period is automatically carried forward to the next period.
