The most important measurement is the "Torso" or Girth measurement.
Place the measuring tape on the shoulder as shown (left), and drop the tape down the back of the body, between the legs and up the front.
When the tape completes a full circle, as in the photo, that is your correct measurement.
Have the athlete stand tall, but relaxed (no breath holding).
Please also measure the Bust, Waist, & Hips as shown (below).
