Swash Installation Instructions
Installing the Swash is simple and will take less than one hour.
| Unlike
European-style bidets, the Swash seat bidet installs directly on your
existing toilet. We designed the Swash to fit over 95% of residential toilets in the United States, allowing us to provide its amazing benefits to most American households. Best of all, just about anyone can install
it, usually in under an hour!

Must be GFCI grounded outlet
Electrical
The Swash requires a three prong GFCI grounded outlet (e.g. outlet that has a
safety breaker in it such as those found in kitchens).
If your outlet is more than four feet from the toilet, you have two
options to get power to the unit:
-use a grounded extension cord
-utilize an electrician to install a GFCI outlet near the toilet (typically
$150-$200)
Plumbing
Both the Swash 400 and 600 models were designed to fit numerous toilet
manufacturers including fixtures by American Standard,
Kohler, Eljer, Porcher and Toto. Before purchasing a Swash, customers should
determine if their toilet has a round or elongated bowl:

Note: you will need to check the water line
that connects the toilet tank to the water shut-off valve. If it is a rigid pipe
you may
need to purchase a flexible hose (usually under $10).
