Excerpt from the Campaign for Liberty Regional Conference in Atlanta, GA. As the crowd begins to cheer, Ron Paul states, "We need to take out the CIA!"
There's been a coup - have you heard? It's the CIA coup. The CIA runs everything! They run the military .. and they're every bit as secretive as the Federal Reserve. And yet, think of the harm they have done since they were established at the end of World War II. They are a government unto themselves. They're in businesses, in drug businesses, they take out dictators... We need to take out the CIA!

They won't take him out unless they perceives him as a real threat to thier power. JFK was in a position to dismantle them, Ron Paul is not they will just keep labeling him as an extremist and a kook.

Of course, let's not forget that JFK also issued new currency to compete with Federal Reserve Notes. They were called "United States Notes" and were backed by silver.
You can still see a few in circulation today though it is rare.
So these 2 organizations, the CIA and the FED are the untouchables and I would fear for Dr. Paul's safety if he ever really got close to the presidential office.
A t-shirt I saw at the Rally for the Republic in Minneapolis in sept 2008 said it all; "Ron Paul's got balls!"

This is something else! I have never seen such arguing about a subject in a forum like this. What a trip. He has always been passionate about FREEDOM and the Constitution. I believe he has learned, with maturity and time with His Savior, to speak softly and carry a big stick. I loved seeing the passion back then and yet he still keeps up the fight.

There are quite a few believers in Christianity here, (at least nominally). The Just War theroy is one I believe was mentioned by Ron Paul at the Values Voters debate. Most of the Christians here, I believe, agree with Ron Paul on this.

Do you have it on first hand information that he has protection? I sure hope so. It just seems that in the last few weeks (especially with his speech on the floor of the house stating that there might be something revolutionary happening soon) that he has been made aware that events are about to unfold very quickly and that he is cryptically trying to notify the remnant!

source he told me Dr. Paul is protected by ex-military
veterans who were assigned to protect generals and colonels
in the military.
He said that also Dr. Paul wears a bullet proof vest at times when threats have been made which are daily.
I don't know if he was bs me but he verified when I asked
him if there was protection in Minneapolis and he said there were over 100 volunteers placed around the arena, they are marines,navy seals,ex-police officer's.
