Obama Administration Shuts Down Oldest Gun Show in Central Texas

The BATF engaged in mafia tactics in running a criminal conspiracy to shut down a gun show in Austin Texas, the Alex Jones Show heard Monday, direct from the man embroiled at the center of the Obama administration’s latest savage attack on the second amendment.

Following the staged arrest of a man by the Austin Police — subsequently released without charge — the BATF pressured lease holders HEB to shut down the oldest gun show in central Texas.
As revealed Monday on The Alex Jones Show, the BATF called the original meeting regarding the gun show and used threats and intimidation to shut down the event.
Darwin Boedeker of Texas Gun Shows provided details of the criminal conspiracy by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (abbreviated ATF) and the Austin police to shut down the show last week.
On Thursday, January 14, Mr. Boedeker was asked to meet with representatives of the ATF and Austin police at a building in Austin used for police interviews and interrogations. In addition to Boedeker, the two hour meeting included the participation of HEB, an Austin grocery retailer. HEB holds the lease on the building where the Texas Gun Shows events are held on the third week of every month.
Police, under the direction of ATF, told Boedeker he would be required to follow their “recommendations” or they would close down his event. Boedeker said he was told “you do what we say or we shut you down.” He said the ultimatum was recorded by the police and ATF.
Mr. Boedeker indicated enforcing the ATF recommendations would destroy his business. He said he would not issue a public notice unless it indicated the so-called recommendations were issued by the Austin Police and the ATF.
In order to make their case, the ATF and APD cited numerous alleged criminal cases associated with a previous gun show organizer. Mr. Boedeker said the ATF and APD did not seem aware that he is not associated with previous gun show events at the location.
Boedeker said he is far down on the “totem pole” of gun show events and he believes this is why the police under the direction of the ATF engaged in criminal racketeering against him.
Boedeker’s flier issued under government coercion and the demand of the event center building lease holder states:
“At the direction of the Austin Police Department and the The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms anyone selling a firearm at this show location will be asked to comply with the following: 1. Any person selling a personal firearm must go through a licensed FFL Dealer in the show to transfer the firearm to the new owner. 2. Selling of Firearms in the parking lot will not be permitted. Thank you for your cooperation!”
Police officers dressed in street clothes attended the event and watched participants, according to Boedeker. The police admitted to him they are interested in forcing gun shows to provide background checks on buyers.
Alex Jones noted on his show that he has attended guns shows at the venue since he was in high school.
Listeners to the Alex Jones Show should be aware that this backhanded tactic or similar tactics used by the ATF will be used at the behest of the Obama administration to shut down legal gun shows in other states. The Obama administration is the most anti-Second Amendment administration is U.S. history.
Congressional Democrats and their Constitution-hating allies have proposed two bills in an attempt to shut down gun shows. The Gun Show Loophole Closing Act of 2009 (H.R. 2324) was introduced in the House by the notorious gun-grabber Carolyn McCarthy of New York. Senator Frank Lautenberg introduced similar legislation, the Gun Show Background Check Act of 2009 (S. 843), in the U.S. Senate. As of October 2009, the House version of the bill had 35 co-sponsors (mostly Democrats) and the Senate version had 15 co-sponsors, all Democrats.
Obama’s top cop, Eric Holder, is a gun-grabber’s dream come true. “As Deputy Attorney General, Holder was a strong supporter of restrictive gun control. He advocated federal licensing of handgun owners, a three day waiting period on handgun sales, rationing handgun sales to no more than one per month, banning possession of handguns and so-called ‘assault weapons’ (cosmetically incorrect guns) by anyone under age of 21, a gun show restriction bill that would have given the federal government the power to shut down all gun shows, national gun registration, and mandatory prison sentences for trivial offenses (e.g., giving your son an heirloom handgun for Christmas, if he were two weeks shy of his 21st birthday),” David Kopel wrote in 2008.

New Jersey Democrat senator Frank R. Lautenberg said last June he planned to introduce legislation designed to cancel the Second Amendment rights of well over a million U.S. citizens. “Mr. Lautenberg plans to introduce legislation on Monday that would give the attorney general the discretion to block gun sales to people on terror watch lists,” the New York Times reported on June 20, 2009. The federal terror watch list contains over a million names.
As a state senator in Illinois, Obama supported a number of laws and regulations designed to restrict and outlaw firearms. Obama supports the CIFTA Gun Treaty. Last year, in meetings with Mexican President Felipe Calderon, Obama promised to urge the U.S. Senate to pass the international arms control treaty. Under the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties, international legal obligations are superior rank to national law. The treaty would impose the most draconian gun laws in U.S. history.
The Obama administration and its Marxist czars (the sort of Marxism created and supported by the banksters) and policy makers are on the march and they will not be satisfied until they outlaw and confiscate all firearms from law-abiding Americans.
Now is the time to become politically involved. Find out where your representatives stand on so-called gun control and especially their stand on local gun shows and sales of legal firearms between individuals. If they are gun-grabbing Democrats and their spineless Republican confederates, work to get them out of office. Expose them for the Second Amendment traitors they are.
Become aware of ATF activity in your state and the complicity of local law enforcement. Only through awareness and political action can we save our Constitution and Second Amendment from the claws of the New World Order and its long-stated goal to disarm the public and impose a globalist dictatorship. They fear an armed and informed public. Make sure they remain afraid.
If we blow this covert op in Texas off and do nothing, we can expect more of the same around the country. Don’t embolden the ATF and the Obama administration. Get active today or lose your right to defend yourself against criminals and a predatory government.

I’d boycott HEB. Unfortunately they only exist in smaller areas of TX. I do not know of any in the Dallas area. Too bad. We need to protest this. Somone, out there, with a building, please let this guy hold his gun show in your building. They can only take your 2nd ammend. right if you allow it!! The constitution was written and protected by our forefathers so that our contitutional rights could not be taken away. Fight the NWO!! Where can I protest!!! ???

BOYCOTT H.E.B. and let them know you’re doing it, and why.
THEN, demand that they completely turn their position around to support the U.S. Constitution and We the People. Do not let them off the hook until they publicly stand side-by-side with the American people and against tyranny, this fascist takeover of the American way of life.
This needs to be the campaign of the century, and luckily, the one to turn around, HEB, is big enough to make a big difference.
You, the people of Texas, have the power to do this. You can be successful with turning around HEB, but it’s going to take alot of voices, and people willing to:
1. Advertise what you’re doing – get the word out … via radio shows, letters to the editors, fliers at HEB stores, press conferences, support from suppliers/vendors to HEB.
Have children pass out fliers at school to take home to their parents.
Contact all schools & engage the school leadership in their civic duty to help those who pay their salaries.
2. Follow through. Don’t shop at HEB! Spread the word like wildfire – and do everything you can to get others to give notice to HEB that you not only demand that they change their position but that from now on, they actively & outright support the Constitution, and We the People, including the 2nd Amendment.
3. Engage every civil rights organization to publicize the “BOYCOTT H.E.B.” in their print publications and online.
This is a watershed moment in the history of this great Republic and this situation carries the opportunity to create a groundswell of grassroots support. Everyone buys food, and H.E.B. is a huge corporation, many many people spend alot of money at those stores.
They will not want this fire to rage out of control. It’s actually a bonus that one of the bad guys involved is a big corporation rather than a typical landlord/investor type.
H.E.B. needs to be put on notice, effective immediately, that they actively support We the People & the U.S. Constitution, or they are going down.
There is no excuse for the government to want to keep the people defenseless – unless they are up to no good. If they had concern for the citizens, they’d want us to be armed – ready to defend the country, or lend a hand to law enforcement, or create less crime. BUT they don’t want any of those things. They want us to be defenseless – against home break-ins or foreign invasion. They want us to give up our God-given rights, our culture, our freedom. WHY?
Think about that, and then let’s get busy. I’ll help as I can, but I’m not in Texas. The people there will have to spearhead this effort, and it’s going to take “all hands on deck.”
But this is a red-alert situation and an opportunity … can’t let it go to waste, now, can we?

it would be nice if some gun owning attorneys would take some legal action against these thugs. but maybe they won’t work for freedom (even their own), only money. that is the only effective way i can see of dealing with this. sure shooting cops and politicians and making a big stink does make a statement. but really this stuff has to be taken down through the judicial system. or you just give all law enforcement a reason to feel challenged by the citizens. and god knows they already have a huge complex in that department.

OK after thinking about it that would be a really bad idea…We need to beat this in the polls and with voting. I know I do not have the balls to do what the last post says and anyone thinking of doing that is only putting them selves in harms way. I type a lot because it just plain hurts to see our country and our rights going down the drain. Bottom line is…I want to live to die of old age and so should everyone else. We need to be united in the polls and put into office those that will represent us and not sell us out or them selves.

You CANNOT beat it in the polls and with voting. They’ don’t work anymore. The polls are rigged, the elections are rigged, and there are laws in place protecting them while there are other laws in place saying you’re a terrorist for merely SAYING something is wrong.
I realize why you think force is a bad idea. Because there are even still OTHER laws, passed in secrecy, just WAITING for us to do just that. At the first hint of aggression, they will bring every bit of force they have against us. Did you know that all the cell phone towers have a dual and second indisious purpose? Cell phone were created to resonate at the same frequency that the human body does. They can cause the towers to emit that frequency and blast it out into the air and every one for a mile in any direction would be brought to their knees in severe abdominal pain. Hard to “storm the Bastille” when you can’t even move and are begging for mercy. There are over 2 million foriegn troops stationed in the U.S. and they, too, are awaiting their orders. But we really have no choice. We have THAT serious problem to deal with IF WE START NOW. If we wait, it only gets worse and the noose tightens. Yes, the “apparati” are all in place, but we have it to do.
I figure that for every ten people out there, 5 have no clue what’s going on and wouldn’t believe you if you had the proof with you. 2 would drop dime on you. 2 wouldn’t pull themselves from their bar stool ’cause the game is on. .5 are too busy chasing tail. And the .5 that are left are still skeptical even though they talk a damn good macho game….

I have told thousands of people what is really going on. I was a delegate to the National Democrat Convention at Miami and ran a candidate for VP. I have provided money and time to 4 major talk radio hosts. I have stood in front of Janet Reno”s bus with the sitting Texas Governor NN Richards inside, holding a red 5′ long cylinder with “Kid Killer Gas” painted on the side. I have given a flip chart presentation to the Ft. Worth City Council while holding a 5′. long white gavel with bloody hand prints on it. My point is that: I have yet to fire a gun in my defense from the NWO. But I do fight.

The BATF and ATF are unconstitutional agencies especially the ATF. They have not a mandate since prohibition was repealed. Both agencies have no real purpose and it is certainly not needed under the constitution.
This is another example of people working for the federal government trying to implement laws that have not been passed in Congress.
In short, they are jack booted Nazi thugs.

Not one news story about it on local news or newspapers. So I kept looking about. So I see a picture of a “flyer” that was posted at the venue. What I dont get is why no one took a picture of this thing posted on something. There is no letterhead or any indication that it was posted by any one with any authority. Anyone with a Computer and an Axe to grind could have made that flyer that no one took an actual picture of posted at the Gun Show. Also I find it funny that a Store called H.E.B pulled the plug but somehow it was really Obama. For Dogs sakes people being a mindless fool that is anti-everything still makes you a mindless fool. With no real evidence you people are sucked into a story and worked into a rabid frenzy over what looks like B.S plain and simple. Before you flame on how I just dont get it I have been brainwashed and all that jazz. First off STFU you have no clue who I am just like I dont know you but I have listened to the same silly conspiracy nut jobs that you have, but for some reason have not been swayed. There is a big annual gun show in Fort Worth at the Roy Rogers center and probably many others. That gets a huge crowd. I’m not a gun fan, but I respect the right for people to have them. Also, aren’t a lot of these gun advocacy groups really promoting the elimination of guns behind the scenes?
That’s what’s so sad about everything that’s happening.

One thing the American People need to realize is no one is standing up and saying things to make real change (except a few like Ron Paul), so….why it is business as usual? What is getting stuck in the gears of change or to make change? Couple of things to ponder. First, when anyone breaks the law, it is not business as usual! Nor should be with government! I say this should be exactly that! If you break the law, thats IT! NO MORE CONTINUING ON TIL WHOEVER IS GUILTY IS TAKEN CARE OF. There cannot be a double standard! This also goes another way. Whenever a government public servant is guilty of wrong doing and especially the police, we the people cannot and should not pay out the lawsuit money for the guilty deed! Makes no sense! I say, make those that are guilty pay with their own money and that way we will weed out those that are not responsible! We must stop paying out for those that are guilty of wrong doing in Government! All Federal laws are null and void. Even the stupidist State Governments are Blackmailed to do what Fed Guidelines say because….of FEDERAL Money given to the States. There is a lot of Treason in States these days and the criminals are not in Prison but in State Legislatures! Why dont we just stop sending our money to DC and keep it in our states???

In my area guns shows are held all the time at a building which is owned by the city (small
city about 100 mi south of Austin. Just wonder how all this will play out here being that the
guns shows held have sanctioned by the city.
By the way, HEB’s are the dominate grocer from Austin to Houston, San Antonio to Corpus
Christi, along all the Mexican border on both sides.

Russian forces have been asked to help in America
” I have some very recent and specific information about Russian (yes I said Russian) forces which have been tapped to “assist” U.S. forces in the near future. My wife is Russian and one of her relatives is a high placed officer who I know very well (by-the-way I speak fairly good Russian).
Several weeks ago (I am not sure of the exact date) Lt. Gen. Steven Blum the Deputy Commander of NORTHCOM requested from the Russian government pursuant to a secret agreement the use of 3 to 4 brigades of military security forces to be deployed in the U.S. presumably to assist local law enforcement in “peace keeping operations”. When the request was made this very senior officer which my wife is related to expressed serious concerns about losses because of how well the “Americans” were armed. This officer and relative told me directly that he was assured by Gen. Blum that his forces would not be in the direct line of fire and that they would be free to use “whatever force was necessary to defend themselves and prevent future attacks”.
When I spoke to this officer he asked how stiff the resistance would be? I let him know that it would make the fight in Afghanistan and Chechnya look like a Sunday walk in the park (the Soviet losses in Afghanistan unofficially topped 30,000 and in Chechnya the losses were even greater), I told him that the resistance would be unbelievable. He should expect a lot of snipers, men who have hunted big game for years an know how to hide and shoot, he should also not expect any quarter, anyone in uniform will be a target and that he should expect his officers to be targeted first. Roadside bombs and direct attacks on roadblocks and checkpoints will be commonplace. I let him know his troops would not be welcome and that he should oppose this request, I even offered to come to Moscow to give a briefing as to what they could expect should his government agree to provide the troops.
I am sorry I can not give any specifics, this information was given to me directly from the officer in Russia and confirmed by from a high level source at NORTHCOM. Neither could give a specific time frame but my general take was months but less than a year.

This morning I received a call from Deputy Prime Minister Sergei Ivanov’s office about giving a briefing/presentation in Moscow later this month on “the extent of resistance Russian security forces would face if they were to be stationed on American soil in a Peace Keeping Roll” i. I would of course be responsible for my own expenses (typical cheap ass Russians) but the defense ministry would provide ground transportation and appropriate security should I agree to come to Moscow. Needless to say I accepted and a preliminary date was set for January 28th at 0930. “.

Remember that it has already been confirmed that the US and Canada have such an agreement for Canadian troops to be used in CONUS if the US requests them.
So can anyone here cite where in the US Constitution where it authorizes foreign military to exercise authority over US Citizens in the US?
While studing Consitutional Law in University I never ever discovered such a cite or even doctrine.

The sovereign state of Texas, and each individual state, needs to exercise its 9th and 10th amendment rights. All ATF powers are unconstitutional powers. All gun laws are unconstitutional laws. Now i’m not sure if this will be published or not because it seems to support anti gun legislation, but why do Americans feel the need to own a firearm?? This is a serious question from a foreigner that just doesn’t get it. Every second week you hear a story of a crazed gunman killing half a dozen innocent people in the States and everytime we foreigners say if only they tightened their gunlaws in line with all other western societies this wouldn’t happen so often. As a person who will be visiting your country for the first time in a few months your gun laws and the frequency in which massacres and murders occur is a real worry. Most americans are good people and the chances of anything happening are small but the fact that everybody has a gun does increase the chances.
Why fall back on a constitutional right that was forged in the dark ages? Would the same constitutional right be formulated in this modern world given the violent nature of society?? You do not need a gun!! if everybody else doesn’t have a gun you have nothing to fear (spare me the government will shoot me crap!!). It is 2010 and people do not need a firearm.

There’s no need for any member of the public to have assault rifles, machine guns and other similar weapons. Everyone who uses telecommunications to disseminate this type of information is already a target, this is why a fundamental component of the defense of the Republic is for EACH one of you to spread this information discreetly and in HARD COPY to 20(ideally) people who have sworn an oath never to use telecommunications(internet, phones, anything easily snooped) to speak of this. In a world moving more and more rapidly towards globalization, perhaps we’d do well to review exactly what insures freedom. What is it that makes one free? What sets a free man apart from one enslaved?
The founders would argue insuring a well-armed people was the surest way to defend against an abusive growth of government. They understood Americans would and should be well armed. George Mason, a strong advocate of state’s rights, understood that disarming the people was the surest way to enslave them so he fought hard for the addition of the Bill of Rights to our Constitution including the 2nd amendment. But Noah Webster, who would have been on the other side of the political aisle assured the people that they need not fear a tyrannical government or a standing army as the people must first be disarmed. He was sure that would never happen: “The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, of any pretence, raised in the United States.”
And early Texans understood those ideas even as they pertained ostensibly to the seizure of an essentially useless cannon. Andrew Ponton’s argument “I must therefore [we still need it here] I hope be excused from delivering up the sd cannon…” That gun may have ultimately been loaded with only 16 inches of powder but it was enough to send the Mexican army packing. We must not only nullify federal laws that threaten that right but encourage citizens to be, as Madison encouraged, “trained to arms, as that is the best and most natural defense of a free country.”
