GlaxoSmithKline is preparing to sell billions worth of swine flu drugs this year. Their swine flu vaccine will be available by September, and international governments are already stockpiling large supplies of GSK's anti-viral treatment Relenza.
Worldwide sales from the two drugs are expected to be enormous, but the company rejected claims it was exploiting the pandemic.
GlaxoSmithKline has also developed an anti-viral face mask, which is expected to be used by people such as "front line health workers."
According to recent media reports, some 160 million doses of swine flu vaccine are slated to be delivered to the U.S. by fall; enough doses to vaccinate a large portion of the U.S. population. The U.K. government has placed advance orders for 60 million doses. But that’s probably just the beginning if sanity does not take hold soon. However, don’t mistake reports of human trials as a sign that safety measures are in place. Far from it. GlaxoSmithKline has actually stated, "Clinical trials will be limited, due to the need to provide the vaccine to governments as quickly as possible. Additional studies will therefore be required and conducted after the vaccine is made available." [Emphasis mine]. Folks, how could this be anything but a prescription for potentially massive disaster? Unfortunately, many people will not realize that when they line up for this vaccine, they are in fact accepting their role as TEST SUBJECTS. They are likely NOT receiving a drug that has any proof of being safe. Please, if you care about the health and welfare of your friends and family, do not be shy about sharing information about this vaccine with them. It’s imperative that we quell this mounting drive to mass vaccinate, especially the mass vaccination of children. There are factors involved with this vaccine that are brand new, which means it will be highly experimental and unpredictable. For example, this vaccine will not be made using the methods of the past. In order to speed up the cultivation of the virus and the manufacturing process, they’re using human liver cells instead of chicken eggs. Whether this new procedure is better or worse than the old method, I can’t say. Eventually, this can lead to complacency, which I believe is the ultimate goal of the propagators of this campaign. They want you to give up, shut up, and get shot up—so they can make billions of dollars, all without assuming any risk whatsoever. This is not an option for any of us if we are to stop this inhumane, if not criminal, violation of our rights. Instead, I suggest focusing your energy on the following two paths to sanity: 1. Take care of your health to protect yourself against any kind of influenza, and 2. Take a stance and make your voice heard politically Here’s a quick rundown of how to do both.

Here’s a quick rundown of how to do both.
How to Protect Yourself Against the Flu Without Vaccination
Following these simple guidelines will keep your immune system in optimal working order so that you're far less likely to acquire the infection to begin with. Optimize your vitamin D levels. As I've previously reported, optimizing your vitamin D levels is one of the absolute best strategies for avoiding infections of ALL kinds, and vitamin D deficiency is likely the TRUE culprit behind the seasonality of the flu -- not the flu virus itself. This is probably the single most important and least expensive action you can take. I would STRONGLY urge you to have your vitamin D level monitored to confirm your levels are therapeutic at 50-70 ng.ml and done by a reliable vitamin D lab like Lab Corp. For those of you in the U.S., we hope to launch a vitamin D testing service through Lab Corp that allows you to have your vitamin D levels checked at your local blood drawing facility, and relatively inexpensively. We hope to offer this service later this year, but in the meantime you can get your vitamin D levels checked inexpensively by going to this GrassrootsHealth D*action. If you are coming down with flu like symptoms and have not been on vitamin D you can take doses of 50,000 units a day for three days to treat the acute infection. Some researchers like Dr. Cannell, believe the dose could even be as high as 1,000 units per pound of body weight for three days. However, most of Dr. Cannell's work was with seasonal and not pandemic flu. If your body has never been exposed to the antigens there is chance that the vitamin D might not work. However the best bet is to maintain healthy levels of vitamin D around 60 ng/ml. Avoid Sugar and Processed Foods. Sugar decreases the function of your immune system almost immediately, and as you likely know, a strong immune system is key to fighting off viruses and other illness. Be aware that sugar is present in foods you may not suspect, like ketchup and fruit juice. Get Enough Rest. Just like it becomes harder for you to get your daily tasks done if you're tired, if your body is overly fatigued it will be harder for it to fight the flu. Be sure to check out my article Guide to a Good Night's Sleep for some great tips to help you get quality rest. Have Effective Tools to Address Stress . We all face some stress every day, but if stress becomes overwhelming then your body will be less able to fight off the flu and other illness. If you feel that stress is taking a toll on your health, consider using an energy psychology tool such as meridian tapping techniques, which is remarkably effective in relieving stress associated with all kinds of events, from work to family to trauma. Exercise. When you exercise, you increase your circulation and your blood flow throughout your body. The components of your immune system are also better circulated, which means your immune system has a better chance of finding an illness before it spreads. You can review my exercise guidelines for some great tips on how to get started. Take a Good Source of Animal-Based Omega-3 Fats. Increase your intake of healthy and essential fats like the omega-3 found in krill oil, which is crucial for maintaining health. It is also vitally important to avoid damaged omega-6 oils that are trans fats and in processed foods as it will seriously damage your immune response. Wash Your Hands. Washing your hands will decrease your likelihood of spreading a virus to your nose, mouth or other people. Be sure you don't use antibacterial soap for this -- antibacterial soaps are completely unnecessary, and they cause far more harm than good. Instead, identify a simple chemical-free soap that you can switch your family to. Use Natural Antibiotics. Examples include colloidal silver, oil of oregano, and garlic. These work like broad-spectrum antibiotics against bacteria, viruses, and protozoa in your body. And unlike pharmaceutical antibiotics, they do not appear to lead to resistance. Avoid Hospitals and Vaccines. In this particular case, I'd also recommend you stay away from hospitals unless you're having an emergency, as hospitals are prime breeding grounds for infections of all kinds, and could be one of the likeliest places you could be exposed to this new bug. Keep in mind that virtually all vaccinations will LOWER your immune system (this is the main job of the vaccine adjuvants), NOT make it stronger!

Last but not least, make the necessary preparations to self-shield/self-quarantine in the event of a swine flu outbreak in your area. Here are a few suggestions to get you started: Store a two-week supply of food and water in the event you can’t get to a store or stores run out of supplies. Make sure you have a supply of any prescription drugs you take on hand. Talk with family members and loved ones about how they would be cared for if they got sick, or what will be needed to care for them in your home. Get involved in community efforts to prepare for an influenza outbreak.

In Canada, there has been a barrage of daily news stories on swine flu; it's enough to make you sick. GSK has a friend in Health Canada. The country has 50 million doses of Tamiflu reserved for Canadians who have been misled by the media into thinking they will somehow be protected from the ravages of the pandemic.
Little is reported on how the numbers of swine flu are very, very low in comparison with seasonal flu, or how extremely low are the numbers of deaths or related deaths of swine flu (most were already seriously ill with another disease). Most under-reported is how few of the swine flu infected people get sick enough to even go and see a doctor. Considering that the population of Canada is under 34 million, it seems overkill in ordering 50 million Tamiflu doses, and it smells like just another money grab from Big Pharma, who seem to have the WHO and it's puppets well in hand.
A Canadian federal food inspector was called to a hog farm where pigs had swine flu. The inspector showed signs of flu the following day (is this possible?), and was promptly given a Tamiflu shot. He developed a new drug-resistant form of swine flu. Of course, the Canadian government was quick to assure us that the man has never been seriously ill and recovered quickly and was unlikely to have infected others, despite his airplane travel while ill. This tone is in direct contrast to the hysterical misinformation they have been releasing about the potential deaths from swine flu, and urging us to get the vaccine this fall.
A researcher said that since the pandemic was first announced, health practitioners have been giving out a lot of antivirals, which probably means that there is more chance of developing resistant strains.
Remember when penicillin was called a wonder drug? And so it was, until it was given out for every little benign ailment. Now, drug resistant, man-made diseases infect every hospital. A pox upon GSK and its ilk. Drug dealers and drug money are running things.
I agree pieauthority. GSK is our pandemic response vaccine maker. Funny they had no competition when chosen, because they simply bought up all their competition.
I think I'm going to roll around in the pig pen for a while just so I can get the swine flu. When they start the vaccination this September, I can just say "no thanks, I already had it, thank you.
I see that another person from Alberta has died, they named other underlying health conditions. This blows me away since the WHO has told everyone to quit counting.
When Health Canada made the mistake of telling me that they rely on the media for a lot of their information, now whenever I run across anything they should know, I email it to them. Still waiting for a response from the PHAC asking them if the swine flu originated in a lab. The National Microbioloy Labratory in Winnipeg was the first to map the genomic sequence and there are genetic markers which can tell them if it was genetically engineered. They already gave me a non-answer by stating the swine flu originated in Mexico, will post a real response if I ever get one.
Ching-Ching!! GSK's idea of raking in the money at the expense of how many possible deaths is just outrageous and unethical. Although they say the deaths that have occured already were not related to any of the vaccinations, this is just another vaccine added to the list with others such as Gardasil, that will allow criminals, namely the evil, money hungry drug makers to put profits over protecting life and health.

Sheila C, you'll probably get an answer "when pigs fly"! I am also in Canada. So far there's no indication of mandatory vaccination here, but that they expect some people might "need" two shots! Wonder why. I suppose if squalene sensitization didn't happen with the first shot it would take hold with the second!
I wrote to the Minister of Health (who seems to be an ideal puppet -- no knowledge of medical science!), and to the Opposition Health Critic. I was pointing out the issue of adjuvants and asking whether our famous universal health insurance system could withstand an enormous increase in the number of patients seeking treatment for rheumatoid arthritis symptoms. We'll see if there's any acknowledgment of that one (or if pigs will fly first). My MP (John Baird!) got a copy of it too. His office usually does send acknowledgments, but of course Parliament is in recess for the summer. If wool is being pulled over public eyes, then while Question Period is in abeyance is the ideal time to rush through these so-called health protection measures.
I also suggested the simplest measure of all would be to require anyone who has symptoms such as coughing to wear one of those surgical masks. If China can do this, why not us? (In any group photo from China taken in recent decades that I've ever seen, there are always a few faces with these white masks on.) Then they wouldn't spread the virus around. This should be standard practice anyway during the winter when people are indoors most of the time and we aren't getting our free Vitamin D from sunlight.
Of course sales of drugs and palliatives would drop if the disease was not spreading, so this might be why nobody has suggested this really obvious solution.
To "pieauthority" - re the pig-farm inspectors. The report I heard said that the inspectors had disregarded their own procedural rules. Stupid actions like taking off the head covering! Had they just not taken outbreak seriously? OR -- were they trying to catch the illness? It sounds very far-fetched even to imagine that being a guinea pig for Tamiflu was part of the job description.
The "stop counting" aspect is an information blackout. Was the news not bad enough to scare people? To be very cynical, maybe this is an economy-health measure to "inject" more profits into the stock market and thereby stabilize the monetary system. It won't be a surprise if people lining up to have shots are celebrated in the media for being prudent and for preventing disease, while anyone who opts out will be condemned as risking the health of everyone else. Though, how, if the vaccine is effective against flu, all those who are vaccinated could possibly be infected by someone who wasn't injected is not being explained. The only thing we know for sure is that the news is never going to say that the vaccine didn't work.
The vaccine will be credited with stopping the 2009 "world swine-flu pandemic", and the investors in drug companies will be credited with big dividends. Free Enterprise at Work!
Doctor Mercola you are right about the way swine flu is being diagnosed in the UK. The first cases were laboratory tested but as the illness spread, that became a bit cumbersome so the powers that be in their wisdom decided the best way was to create call centres where non-medical and largely untrained people could diagnose down the telephone by asking questions and completing a questionaire. When people are diagnosed this way, they are then prescribed Tamiflu which has to be collected by a 'flu buddy' because the patients themselves are asked not to attend the doctor's surgery or hospital casualty departments for fear of spreading the disease around. This means they have not been even seen let alone examined by anybody qualified. We do know that there have been misdiagnoses which have led to the death of at least two children and some people are faking the symptoms so they can stockpile Tamiflu for the expected more serious outbreak in the autumn. Even doctors now conceed that Tamiflu is being overprescribed and in some cases is doing more harm than good particularly to young children. Personally I don't believe the numbers fo so-called infected are telling us anything about the spread of this disease, mostly they are telling us about the spread of the panic. It sickens me they are trying to push this vaccine thorough without proper trials. I think the rush is more to squeeze as much money as possible out of the situation before people wake up and realise they didn't need the vaccine in the first place.

WELCOME TO NATIONALIZED HEALTH CARE FOLKS! Not to side line the H1N1 information here but if us American's don't wake up we will also have this type of fine 'get in line' health care.
Back on track...'they' stopped counting H1N1 deaths at 700 worldwide. First, why would they stop counting? To even know if this is a 'pandemic' shouldn't they be counting? Secondly, there are 6.8 BILLION people on the earth and ONLY 700 people have died from this flu. I can't even calculate that percentage but that is extremely low odds of someone you know dying from this. Every year there are between 350 and 500 million clinical episodes of malaria and at least one million deaths occur every year due to malaria. Why isn't THIS a pandemic??
Don't be fooled folks there is more of an agenda here than just the benefit of the pharma companies making 49 billion. So don't believe the fear tactics from the produced media/commercials and DON'T let anyone you know get this shot!
cking, these helplines were set up by the Department of Health, a government department. I have been viewing some of the dissing of the NHS in the US and it wasn't my intention to add to that! The NHS may have deficiencies, all systems do and you may feel such a system is not for you, but you should be aware that a lot of lies have been told about it. For instance that people with cancer over a certain age will be left to die and the ludicrous claim that Steven Hawking would be regarded as not worth treating when actually he is treated by the NHS as a British citizen. Some newer drugs and treatments may be hard or impossible to get because the pot of money isn't infinite, but that situation changes all the time. The NHS needs some reform but to call it evil or orwellian is just plain stupid!

We cannot even come up with a cure for the common cold and yet Big Pharma can come up with vaccines to prevent something that has already been clasified as a pandemic 6 so that the vast majority of ill-informed people will just line up and take a shot of something that has absolutely no proven record that the getting the vaccine will help anyone. Our system wants to go out and get the criminals that are selling drugs on the street and then give totally immunity to Drug Companies that are killing more people than any of the drugs that are on the street. What about the people that don't know how to navigate the internet and be informed, except by the mass media which is creating mass hysteria. The media that we are watching on our TV sets are also Big Clanglamorents who are owned by powerful men that buy up the small TV stations and are controlled as to what they can tell the world what is really happening in our world. This is what is called Fear Factor or Scare Tactics. All they have to do is to put fear into someone who is up in age and they sumbit to what they are told to do. The really sad thing is, is that our children once they get on the bus and go to school for their education can be herded in to the school clinic and be given these shots without the parents permission. Remember, there are no repercussions because we cannot hold the drug manufacturers accountable, so do you think that you will be able to do anything about it after it has been done. We as a Soveriegn Nation have lost our Rights and can no longer Just Say No to drugs because now it is our government that forcing drugs upon us. There has never been a more critical time in our history for home schooling than Right Now. We need to protect our children, because they will be the first and most valnerable to this Death by Leathal Injection. When enough people start to say No, then you will see Marshall Law come into play. Lord Help Us.
It's so strange that each country is independently repeating the same mistakes. Here in New Zealand initially everyone who had the swine flu was being given Tamiflu (it was being diagnosed with blood tests) but they stopped doing that pretty quickly because there were concerns that this practice would produce a Tamiflu resistant strain of swine flu so now only people who are very sick are given Tamiflu here and they are discouraging it's use for other people. I would have thought that health departments in different countries would talk to each other especially as there must be a wealth of information by now about this disease from New Zealand and Australia where it has been circulating for a while and that maybe Tamiflu use might be restricted elsewhere as well.
Thankfully here the swine flu isn't news anymore and our media has been responsible and reported that for most people it is a mild infection. Now that the fuss has died down the health authorities have decided that it will come back as a more severe illness in a second wave and are trying to whip us all into a frenzy about that but I think most of us aren't taking much notice now. We're taking an "I'll believe it when I see it" stance.

Microbiologist's at the Virology Lab will not tell you a thing.....this I know, including whether or not SF was GE'd....'cause that will start a panic of epic proportions and the ugly word 'terrorism' will rear it's horned head....
...and yes, this is precisely what most people do not understand....a vaccine, dangerous in its components to begin with, will do nothing but speed up and magnify the mutation process...and before we can say "pass the tissues"...hundreds of thousands will be infected with a new strain.
...notice how every year there is a vaccination campaign supposedly targeting the strains that are circulating, yet when all is investigated, it never seems to hit the one that does circulate? You're right Miss Bliss but since the WHO has told everyone to quit counting, they can now make up their own numbers. A recent poll said that 62% of Canadians WANT the swine flu vaccine. So sad.
It was just announced in our province that there will be no charge for the regular flu vaccine this fall. So instead of making them pay for their regular flu shot, they now will not charge them for it. Just so they can see how it reacts with the swine flu vaccine. Is there no liability if it's free?
...that's the catch that they hare hoping no one figure's out....that the vaccine is untested. And you can bet when it's free, people have to take the consequences. Wanna make a bet they make people sign waivers...?
...will the vaccine offer protection? Will it actually boost the immune system so that if the host contracts the mutated form, it will lessen the symptoms and mortality? Or will it do nothing? My guess is that the vaccine may be 'free' but it really won't be...the price people will pay will be as guinea pigs for a vaccine that has not been tested.
Let's not forget that nothing is free from the gov... you can bet $$$$$$$ is flowing to pharma through taxes and other perks for them like a river.
No, if anything, the gov should take over pharma if there were a real pandemic, and state that during a national emergency NO one profits from helping the people of this nation. NO profits, only the cost to cover the product, period.
Now, of course, with that said, our gov is corrupt and I believe NOTHING from them; in fact, I don't recognize most laws out of DC.. WHY? Because if MY rep wasn't there VOTING in my name, or did not read the bill, or a blind 'voice' vote--where no names are taken and therefore no track record, then MY voice, MY opinion was certainly NOT heard.
As of data from May 2009, your probability of surviving swine flu is only 99.5%. Hmmm...when you reframe the issue like this, I think I'll pass on the vaccine, thank you.
