"I do not and will not support any surveillance activities that circumvent established processes without lawful authorization," Blair said at his Senate confirmation hearing. Didn't Senator, now President, Obama vote along with a lot of republicans to let Bush and Cheney off the hook for their illegal spying? Didn't a Bush-lackey congress backdate the law so the PhoneCos would be immune to lawsuits? Blair can unconstitutionally spy all he wants. Obama helped make it "legal". Will he undo?
