Don't hold your breath waiting on the mainstream media.  They receive hundreds of millions in advertising from all the "Just Ask Your Doctor" and other advertisements and their medical and science writers are firmly in the hands of mainstream medicine.

The bottom line is that modern "medicine" is a massive dismal failure. They cure absolutely nothing, and actually cause more health problems than they solve--all in the name of money. $2 TRILLION a year to be exact in the USA. They are in business to make you sick and to treat the sickness. And there is so much money involved, ethics go out the window to the point that everyone says "I'll lie, and you swear to it". In 100 years, society will look back at the evil megalith the "medical" industry has become, and all of the villians will be the heads of the drug companies, the FDA, the Cancer Societies, etc. They will be looked upon like a Stalin or a Hitler.

These people are so utterly evil and sick to hurt people for mere money. It completely blows me away. If there is a hell, I can assure you they will reside there after their short (but wealthy) lives come to an end.  

Amen to that!  6 years ago my doctor gave me a Depo-Provera injection without telling me what it was to stop bleeding from a fibroid.  Made the bleeding worse, plus gave me about 8 other debilitating symptoms!  After suffering for 3 years, I finally found natural progesterone, which helped a lot, but my body has not returned to normal!  If he had given himself that shot, he wouldn't give it to anyone else.  Better yet, if he had given it to his wife, he would never have used it in his practice again!!!!  

It is a matter of taking responsibility. Critical thinking is thought in the better high Schools, but, if people are stupid enough not to go to college to learn critical thinking, or read natural health magazines, letters or e-news as Dr. Mercolas, than they have to take responsibility for getting clobbert by Big PHarma, Monsanto and the lot. I am sorry but blaming Pharma and the government will not lead to a solution - blaming never does; taking responsibility for your choices does.

I am all about taking personal responsibility, but when you have multinational corporations spending tens of BILLIONS of dollars to manipulate and deceive it is NOT a fair playing field and the typical consumer doesn't have a chance.

Regarding critical thinking -- I suspect that the medical school system is designed to weed out critical thinkers before they can get their MD (and it has been this way for hundreds of years).  Most doctors I've ever met were actually fairly nice people (with VERY notable exceptions!) -- but very few of them had any concept of epistemology, either.  That means they usually believe without question whatever they're told by "the system," i. e. drug salesmen, medical journals, and especially what they're taught in medical school.  Carl Jung (himself a doctor) once pointed out that "doctors are trained to not think" -- that's NOT "not trained to think," that's "trained to NOT THINK."  That means that the rest of us must train ourselves to think, or these Judas goats will lead us to debilitation and death via toxic drugs and extreme procedures.

And why should a doctor not act this way?  He's being paid a 6-figure salary and has social prestige, and has no immediate reason whatsoever to question the system.  We'd all better think for ourselves, because nobody else is going to do it for us.

Imo, critical thinking is being brainwashed out of children starting in grade school. When I was learning to read there were these q & a at the end of stories that I was supposed to answer. The last question was titled "What do you think?" and asked what we thought the characters should have done. Being a child who was taught to tell the truth I wrote my opinion and got the question marked as WRONG every time. Now that I'm a parent, I vowed to myself if something like that is done to my children the teachers, principal, school, and school board will hear my wrath for telling my kids that their opinions are worthless.

GhanimaAK - I know exactly what you mean.  I was homeschooled, but my best friend went to the public school I would've gone to.  (I am 30, expect maybe we are the same generation?) I would look at her school work and be shocked at the exact type of questions you mentioned. She is a bright girl, but eventually had to give in to the answers they wanted if she wanted to pass each grade. She would answer essay questions with "yes" or "no" and get a B. In fact she was on the honor roll! I however, learned independent thought and have been an outcast of society ever since...happily!

Imo, the higher the level of education my clients have the less common sense and critical thought they possess.  My sickest and densest clients hold doctorates.  It is not a statement to the individual, merely the system in which they enrolled.

Think for yourself...better yet...feel for yourself.  Intuition is a life saver!

Hi bjmn, I am concerned about your CIN III.  Please get a pap after your treatment!!  I was vegetarian with high folate intake & had CIN II and had cryosurgery.  (Uncomfortable but not too bad).  They freeze your cervix and it sloughs off the surface.  They repeated freezing a week or two later.  3 months later my pap was normal, though 6 months later it was abnormal!  After being treated again it has never come back.  I am concerned because my diet is excellent, I excercise, drink green tea, yet this virus came back.  Please, please get yearly paps, and while dealing with a virus you need them atleast every 6 mos!!  Take care and God bless!  KC

The thing is people are being strong armed and threatened if they don't vaccinate themselves or their children.  Doctors are "reported" if they stray away from the drug approach to health concerns.  We need more people like Dr. Mercola to get into the faces of those FDA mucky mucks and say, "Look here. This is what big pharma is doing to the American people and people all over the world.  They need to be reigned in, NOW.  You are helping make obscene amounts of money at our expense and it has to stop."  I had two doctors send me certified letters giving me 30 days to find another doctor because I was exercising my Florida Patient's Bill of Rights to refuse any treatment or therapy that I considered unnecessary or dangerous.  This third doctor has to tell me about a drug for whatever and he writes down in my records that I refused.  My mother says I should take the prescription and just throw it in the trash.  Why???  My husband says the same thing  because he is afraid TriCare will run out of "approved" doctors and I don't at this time know that there is one naturopathic doctor on their list.  I was told that this third doctor was conservative about his prescription practices.  NOT SO.  He is either chastising me for not taking a statin or telling me I need an ACE inhibitor. I was in hospital and he ordered those nurses to give me a blood thinner, a low dose aspirin and insulin. And he knew how I felt about this before hand.  The first blood test the ER staff took showed that it was not my heart but they went into cardiac mode anyway.  How dangerous is that?  There will be people who will take control of their own health.  But there will be more who want to hand it all the mainstream medicine and big pharma.  Those of us who choose to be responsible are persecuted and called ignorant.  Sad but true. I cancelled my January appointment and I don't know when I will rescedule or if I ever will.  I'm 62 and even though I am having issues I am not going to take the drugs.

I agree with you.  My dog's groomer took their dog to Kansas City because he had cancer.  The vet down there said it was caused by over-vaccinating!  He said that pets don't need a vaccination every year.  It's not good for them, and it will cause cancer.  If that is what happens to a pet, what will happen to all of these precious babies overloaded with vaccinations?

Congrats on stopping the vaccines.  I so wish we could do that in my town, but by law (municipal) every dog has to have a minimum of 2 vac's each year. A local vet even wrote into the paper to state on record that it was not only unnecessary, but harmful.  He said once every 3 years was plenty.  Our city council rejected it without reason and implemented ( and heavily enforces) the law.

Poor animals and kids...I just try to offset what I can with healthy foods and supps for my dog.

Denise B - I have experienced exactly the same and my theory is that some people just need to be sick. It is what makes them who they are. They identify with their illness and it gives them excuses and gets them the attention they need. I may be accused of being cynical but I am sure there is at least some truth in my assumption even though I have no truth. After all we are led to believe that all illness has a psychological basis.

Denise & Janet - Take heart. I am in the same field for 8 years and see the exact same behavior. It used to frustrate and sicken me to no end. I tried to figure out if I was doing something wrong, but seeing as how they were improving and coming off their meds, I couldn't figure. Then I met others in my field with similar stories. Janet is absolutely correct. There are individuals, who when given the choice between changing their habits, stripping their illness from them and living a new life OR going back to their docs/meds who will tell them how to live so there is no personal responsibility, unfortunately, they often choose the latter.  some are terrified, admittedly so, of losing the only identity they've known, or losing an excuse for their lives not being what they want. Still others have some deep-seated need to appease authorities, need a parental figure to please or be punished by and many physicians fit this role.

It's sad, but true. I try not to judge the choice at this point, but merely recognize that this is their right to choose this. I am there if they would like to work with me, but if our paths are not alligned, I have to let them go on their journey.

In Canada you are not forced by law to have your children vaccinated ,but they won't allow them in public schools without it.If you can't afford to send them to private schools or you are not qualified to home teach them the childrens aid will take them away for that reason and give them the vaccines.

I believe that except for 2 states in the US, there is a legal way to avoid vaccines... and that is by taking a religious exemption.  You can also "home-teach," like can be done in Canada, and the US laws for homeschooling are the most favorable in the world!  (Some states more than others, of course, but home-schooling is legal in every state in the US.)

Call their bluff.  If one can't go to school w/out having the vaccine, then, don't go to school!

I am from Canada. You CAN get an exemption from vaccines either by a religios exemption or sign a paper (which needs to be validated by a mayor or someone in an authority position) saying you have made an imformed decision to not have your child vaccinated.  If there is a breakout of one of the diseases, your child just cannot attend school till it is cleared.  The part about not being able to go to school if your child isn't vaccinated is partly true.  They can only be kept out of school for 20 school days then they can go back without the vaccine.  I have 2 children, a boy and a girl. My son has Aspergers and there has been some speculation vaccines may be linked to the rising number of Autistic spectrum cases.  Needless to say neither of my children will have another vaccine HPV or otherwise.  Life and raising children is challenging enough.  I don't need any help from our pharmaceutical companies making it harder.

An ND I know has a homeopathic vaccination protocol that is totally safe.  You can completely treat 3 children for around $120.  Then you take a vaccination record book ( I'm told that dr's offices will give it to you) and fill out the form as you vaccinate homeopathically.  You give that record to the school and they will accept it.  You don't have to state what type of vaccination your children received.  This works.

Those media multinationals are run by right wing republican Bush supporters who do not advocate population control -- these are the evangelicals who told their flocks to vote for Bush based on anti-abortion pro-life propaganda ( Bush does not, obviously, have any reverence for life -- look at the trail of destruction and death in his wake beginning with 9/11) and they view birth control as being the same as abortion. As to the :hussein obama lovefest" I don't even know how to address that since I don't understand any part of it, but the ACLU reference is just completely off the wall. The ACLU is interested in preserving our civil rights, and if not for them we'd be 100% without rights by now instead of 50%-75% our rights trampled by Bush's nazi regime. In other words we wouldn't even be writing comments to Dr. Mercola's website because he wouldn't have one and we couldn't choose whether or not to have our daughters vaccinated or not with this newest pharmaceutical poison being foisted on us to increase their profits nor would we have a choice regarding vaccinations of any other kind. And, yes, those republicans are all for population reduction and what other method would give them the range vaccinations -- flu, babies, children's -- would afford?

I am laughing reading your rebuttal to the poster, as I can see that you are both concerned citizens, but you both suffer from a case of the Liberal versus Conservative Left/Right paradigm that has been ingrained in most of us in America. It took me a while to realize that both are just one side of the same coin, so-to-speak, and that in the end they push the same agenda. It is very advantageous of the two sides of the coin to pose as diametric opposites, which gets us (i.e., the citizens) to fight amongst ourselves. However, they are just the two parts that make up the Hegelean Dialectic, and their aim is to use whichever side is in power at any given time to achieve their (overall) strategy, which is really to take over our country and eventually the world, and to have all of us pay for it while it is happening.

So, getting back to what you too were disagreeing about, let me say that you are both right and that you are both wrong. The corporate media pushes both the liberal and the conservative viewpoints, but you see as I said before their ultimate aim is to arrive at the same place. Neither of the two sides really care about us, the people of this nation.  They will use whomever and whatever issue is politically expedient to get their agenda pushed forward. And I hate to say it, but that agenda is to bleed us for all the money and resources that they can get from us, and then (ultimately) to be rid of us! All of the major issues of the day and of the past 100 years or so have been subtlely crafted and manipulated to weaken our country and erode our rights away; both sides are equally to blame, for they serve the same master. So, instead of fighting amongst ourselves, we need to realize what is really happening and help educate each other about issues, even though there will still be differences amongst us, but at least we as Americans can respect each other and are not killers like "they" are!

I agree completely. Many people don't have access to computers or the time to research the internet or books. They trust those in power or those higher educated to tell them what is best for them. Most people get what they know from television. Although my sister in law knew I never vaccinated my kids and I preached the dangers of it she became interested in it only until she saw something on Jenny Mcarthy and her son on television. A celebrity questioned the safety now she was interested. Does anyone remember the commercials that ran before Gardasil came out. "A virus that CAUSES cancer??" There was no mention of a vaccine. They just wanted you to be "informed" and get the word out. Then a few months later, AHA, now there is a cure! Its like ADD. Okay, we got little hyper boys that can't sit still hooked now what? Well, adults are overworked and stressed and sometimes get irritated or can't think straight. So lets say they have ADHD! Now we can treat all those people that were too old when ADD came out. So then it was like what about the little girls. Does anyone remember that commercial where they had a little shy girl and said your daughter might have ADD. Because she acted shy! I saw it twice then they pulled it. I think parents who never questioned were raising their eyebrows at that one? People were catching on and started asking questions.That was just an advertising ploy that wasn't panning out for them. Of course it that was a true symptom and a true treatment wouldnt we still see a push for it?

We are all fortunate to have access to Mercola.com and sites like it, as well as a multitude of excellent publications to feed us the truth.  BUT...what would happen if we suddenly were denied access to up to the minute publications like this one?  Would we all suddenly become stupid? Succumb to the wiles of Big Pharma? I would hope not, otherwise Dr. Mercola is acting as our Messiah and we are putting our trust in him. (I am certain he would not appreciate this!) Isn't the very thing he promotes, and the rest of us, personal responsibility? Taking charge of one's own life?

I believe we are all here not because we're lucky enough to have found this info, or any other info. I believe we're here because our intuition/spirits guided us to the light, the Truth. And the same can happen when the current form of media we rely on is defunct. I pray that this site will remain strong as a beacon to us, but if the light dims, we have to come back to the one thing we all have, and no one can take from us - our God-given spiritual intuitive natures, which connect us to the ultimate Truth.
