Pennsylvania Homeland Security Employed Israeli Company to Suppress American Political Dissent

On the Alex Jones Show yesterday, investigative journalist Wayne Madsen discussed the involvement of a shadowy Israeli company in an effort by Pennsylvania’s Homeland Security to spy on activists exercising their First Amendment.
On Wednesday, Infowars.com reported that Pennsylvania paid a Philadelphia-based nonprofit $125,000 to compile a list of activists as part of the state Homeland Security’s federally mandated mission to protect public infrastructure. Madsen, citing a story published on late Wednesday by the Philadelphia Citypaper, revealed that the “non-profit” operates not only out of Philadelphia, but Israel as well.

Research conducted by Citypaper journalist Isaiah Thompson shows that the company, the Institute of Terrorism Research and Response (ITRR), in fact does not operate under non-profit status, as reported yesterday by the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “Although the group claims nonprofit status on its website and is listed as a nonprofit corporation by the Pennsylvania Department of State, a search on websites Guidestar.org and IRS.gov yielded no indication that the organization enjoys tax-exempt status. An email seeking clarification of the group’s nonprofit status was not returned,” writes Thompson.
ITRR’s website describes the company as “the preeminent Israeli/American security firm providing training, intelligence and education to clients across the globe.” ITRR categorizes itself as a “Targeted Action Monitoring Center” that does not function as a “clipping service, but a powerful fusion center of battle-tested operatives, analysts, and researchers who have real-life experience fighting both terrorists and criminal entities [...] distinguished among other agencies by its access to a vast network of on-the-ground key-sources in virtually every region of the world.”
For a company boasting specialized counter-terror services, there is virtually no information available on it in the mainstream media. Citypaper’s research turned up a scattering of lackluster ITRR reports published in trade publications, primarily dealing with international terrorism. One report, authored by an intern, details the use of Twitter by “religious, anarchists, anti-government, and anti-globalization” activists who are described as extremists.
In addition, ITRR participated in a 2008 Philadelphia “Emergency Preparedness and Prevention and Hazmat Spills Conference” sponsored by the EPA.
According to the ITRR website, courses offered by the company “are approved by the Israeli Department of Defense (note: this page has since been removed from the website) and ITRR shares a relationship with the Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute, an organization promoting trade opportunities, joint ventures, and strategic alliances between international businesses and Israeli companies. Interestingly, ITRR also shares a partnership with Philadelphia University.

ITRR’s two principles are Aaron Richman, a former Israeli police captain, and Michael Perelman, a former York police commander. The Associated Press yesterday cited an interview conducted in 2007 with Perelman where he admitted ITRR information came from news and internet sites, as well as “on the ground” sources who check on travel routes used by company clients including Harvard University and the United Nations.
The ITRR, however, does more than scour the internet and news services and repackage information for its clients. Pennsylvania Homeland Security director James F. Powers Jr. told the Philadelphia Inquirer in July that ITRR operatives posed in chat rooms as people opposed to last year’s G-20 summit in Pittsburgh and compromised the Pittsburgh Organizing Group, an anarchist organization. “We got the information to the Pittsburgh Police, and they were able to cut them off at the pass,” Powers told Inquirer columnist Daniel Rubin.
On Thursday, the scandal widened when Pittsburgh officials refused to comment on the role ITRR played in tracking and disabling activist groups that planned to protest the 2009 G20 summit in their city. Police Chief Nate Harper and Mayor Luke Ravenstahl’s spokeswoman, Joanna Doven, said they could not talk about information provided by ITRR, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review.
The evolving scandal reveals how far the state of Pennsylvania and apparently the city of Pittsburgh will go in order to deny citizens their First Amendment right to protest and petition the government and demonize disfavored political groups.
ITRR’s connection to Israel also raises the specter that the company is a front for an Israeli intelligence operation and the Israelis gained more than they gave in the relationship with Pennsylvania’s Homeland Security and apparently the city of Pittsburgh.
The use of an Israeli company is especially egregious considering the track record of Israel in violating the civil and human rights of the Palestinians and its far reaching global intelligence operations, including the assassination of activists in foreign countries.
From dancing Israelis on September 11, 2001, to Israeli spies posing as art students and Israeli intelligence operatives shadowing and presumably handling Mohammad Atta and other supposed hijackers in Florida, there is evidence of Israel spying on Americans and running intelligence operations on U.S. soil.

The Lawrence Franklin espionage scandal, otherwise (and more accurately) known as the AIPAC espionage scandal, remains largely unpunished to this day. Lawrence Franklin, a policy analyst under Under Secretary of Defense for Policy Douglas Feith and then-Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz — both key pro-Israel neocons in the Bush administration — passed on a classified presidential directive and other sensitive documents pertaining to U.S. deliberations on foreign policy regarding Iran to AIPAC and subsequently to the Israeli government.
False flag events staged by Israel against the United States are legendary. In fact, the Israeli Mossad admits it uses false flag in most of its operations to cover its tracks.
On June 8, 1967, during the Six-Day War, Israel directly attacked a United States Navy technical research ship, the USS Liberty, and killed 34 crew members and wounded 170. The attack was swept under the rug and never appropriately investigated.
Less deadly instances of Israeli treachery continue unabated. On September 7, the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee accused Israeli agents of posing as FBI agents in an effort to harass and intimidate Muslims. The ADC called on the Department of Justice, Department of State, and other federal agencies to investigate.
“Israel’s undercover operations here, including missions to steal U.S. secrets, are hardly a secret at the FBI, CIA and other U.S. intelligence agencies. From time to time, in fact, the FBI has called Israeli officials on the carpet to complain about a particularly brazen effort to collect classified or other sensitive information, in particular U.S. technical and industrial secrets,” Jeff Stein wrote for the Washington Post on September 2. Stein quotes a CIA official as stating that Israeli intelligence operatives are “all over the place” in the United States.

Henry Clay: National Development Must Take Precedence Over Debt Payments

On Feb. 2, 3, and 6, 1832, Sen. Henry Clay of Kentucky delivered a speech, entitled “In Defense of the American System, Against the British Colonial System.” Clay defended the American System of government-guided development of industry, from the attack of British agents of influence in northern and southern states.
Henry Clay had recently completed a term as U.S. Secretary of state (1825-29), in which post he had ably advanced and defended the joint interests and independence of the new republics in North and South America, urging the adoption of the anti-colonial principles of the American Revolution for all developing nations.
The instruments of the American Svstem included: the Bank of the United States — run by American nationalists — controlling speculators and guaranteeing cheap credit for farmers and developers; tariffs to protect home industry against foreign trade war; and growing government expenditures for the creation of roads, canals, and rail lines.
South Carolina was threatening to secede from the Union unless the protective system were ended. The anti-national (“Free Trade” or what would today be termed a “pro-free market”) movement was led by the former U.S. Treasury Secretary Albert Gallatin of Switzerland. During his own long reign at the Treasury (1801-14), Gallatin had canceled the Founding Fathers’ industrial development program and had virtually dissolved the American armed forces, using the money instead to “try to pay off the national debt.”

“[The] decision on the system of policy embraced in this debate, involves the future destiny of this growing country. One way…it would lead to deep and general distress; general bankruptcy and national ruin; the other, the existing prosperity will be preserved and augmented, and the nation will continue rapidly to advance in wealth, power and greatness….
“Eight years ago, it was my painful duty to present to the other House of Congress, an unexaggerated picture of the general distress pervading the whole land. We must all yet remember some of its frightful features. We all know that the people were then oppressed and borne down by an enormous load of debt; that the value of property was at the lowest point of depression; that ruinous sales and sacrifices were everywhere made of real estate [such as forced sales of farms]; that stop laws and relief laws [i.e., debt moratoria] and paper money were adopted to save the people from impending destruction; that a deficit in the public revenue existed, which compelled Government to seize upon, and divert from its legitimate object, the appropriation to the sinking fund to redeem the national debt….
“[Today by contrast] we behold cultivation extended, the arts flourishing, the face of the country improved, our people fully and profitably employed…a People out of debt; land rising slowly in value, but in a secure and salutary degree; a ready, though not extravagant market for all the surplus productions of our industry; innumerable flocks and herds browsing and gamboling on ten thousand hills and plains, covered with rich and verdant grasses; our cities expanded, and whole villages springing up, as it were, by enchantment; our exports and imports increased and increasing; our tonnage [shipping], foreign and coastwise, swelling and fully occupied; the rivers of our interior animated by the perpetual thunder and lightning of countless steam boats; the currency sound and abundant; the public debt of two wars nearly redeemed; and, to crown all, the public treasury overflow- ing….
“This transformation of the condition of the country from gloom and distress to brightness and prosperity, has been mainly the work of American legislation, fostering American industry, instead of allowing it to be controlled by foreign legislation, cherishing foreign industry….
“It is now proposed to abolish the system, to which we owe so much of the public prosperity…I have been aware that, among those who were most eagerly pressing the payment of the public debt, and, upon that ground, were opposing appropriations to other great interests [i.e., to pay debts develop and defend the nation, there were some who cared less about the debt than [preventing] the accomplishment of other objects. But the People- of the United States, have not coupled the payment of their public debt with the destruction of the protection of their industry….If it is to be attended or followed by the subversion of the American system, and an exposure of our establishments and our productions to the unguarded consequences of the selfish policy of foreign Powers, the payment of the public debt will be the bitterest of curses. Its fruit will be like the fruit “Of that forbidden tree, whose mortal taste “Brought death into the world, and all our woe, “With loss of Eden.” ” …[There] is scarcely an interest, scarcely a vocation in society, which is not embraced by the beneficence of this system [of govemment promotion and deliberate development]…. ” …When gentlemen have succeeded in their design of an immediate or gradual destruction of the American System, what is their substitute? Free trade! Free trade!
The call for free trade, is as unavailing as the cry of a spoiled child, in its nurse’s arms, for the moon or the stars that glitter in the firinament of heaven. It never has existed; it never will exist….
“Gentlemen deceive themselves. It is not free trade that they are recommending to our acceptance. It is, in effect, the British colonial system that we are invited to adopt; and, if their policy prevail, it will lead, substantially, to the recolonization of these States, under the commercial dominion of Great Britain. And whom do we find some of the principal supporters, out of Congress, of this foreign system? Mr. President, there are some foreigners who always remain exotics, and never become naturalized in our country: whilst, happily, there are many others who readily attach themselves to our principles and our institutions….
“But, Sir, the gentleman [Albert Gallatin...or Henry Kissinger?] to whom I am about to allude, although long a resident of this country, has no feelings, no attachments, no sympathies, no principles, in common with our People. Nearly fifty years ago, Pennsylvanias took him to her bosom, and warmed, and cherished, and honored him; and how does he manifest his gratitude? By aiming a vital blow at a system endeared to her by a thorough conviction that it is indispensable to its prosperity. . . .
“To [recommend] the. . . theories by Mr. Gallatin…to favorable consideration. . . [South Carolina's Senator Robert Y. Hayne] has cited a speech by my Lord Goderich, addressed to the British Parliament, in favor of free trade….I dislike this resort to authority, and especially foreign and interested authority, for the support of principles of public policy. I would greatly prefer to meet gentlemen on the broad ground of fact, of experience, and of reason; but since they will appeal to British names and authority, I feel myself compelled to imitate their bad example. Allow me to quote from the speech of a member of the British Parliament, bearing the same family name with my Lord Goderich…:
“It was idle for us to endeavor to persuade other nations to join with us in adopting the principles of what was called ‘free trade.’ Other nations knew…what we meant by ‘free trade’ was nothing more nor less than…to prevent them, one and all, from ever becoming manufacturing nations….The policy that France acted on, was that of encouraging its native manufactures, and it was a wise policy; because if it were freely to admit our manufactures, it would speedily be reduced to the rank of an agricultural nation; and therefore a poor nation, as all must be that depend exclusively upon agriculture. America acted too upon the same principle with France. America legislated for futurity — legislated for an increasing population…since the peace, France, Germany, America, and all the other countries of the world, had proceeded upon the principle of encouraging and protecting native manufactures.”
“But I have said that the system nominally called “free trade”…is a mere revival of the British colonial system, forced upon us by Great Britain during the existence of our colonial vassalage. The whole system is fully explained and illustrated in a work published as far back as 1750, entitled “The trade and navigation of Great Britain considered, by Joshua Gee”….In that work the author contends–
“That manufactures, in the American colonies, should be discouraged or prohibited…we ought always to keep a watchful eye over our colonies, to restrain them from setting up any of the manufactures which are carried on in Britain; and any such attempts should be crushed in the beginning: for, if they are suffered to grow up to maturity, it will be difficult to suppress them….
1. “The advantages to Great Britain from keeping the colonists dependent upon her for their essential supplies…not one-fourth part of their product redounds to their own profit: for, out of all that comes here, they only carry back clothing and other accommodations for their families; all of which is the merchandise and manufacture of this kingdom….
2. “All these advantages we receive by the plantations, besides the mortgages on the planters’ estates, and the high interest they pay us, which is very considerable; and therefore very great care ought to be taken, in regulating all affairs of the colonists, that the planters be not put under too many difficulties, but encouraged to go on cheerfully.”
But the British colonial authorities had taken no heed of warnings, and had squeezed the American colonists beyond their endurance. The Americans had fought back in the Revolution of 1775-1782. British cavalrymen had broken into and ransacked the house of the four-year-old Henry Clay, who watched while enemy soldiers thrust swords into the grave of his recently-dead father, looking for treasure.
Senator Clay remembered these scenes, while recommending to his countrymen the American over the British system of economics.

I don’t know about you, but I delight in every time the 1st amendment is practiced even when it’s something I don’t care about it. That’s the whole point of it, to protect unpopular speech. A man should question wether he is secure in his beliefs & opinions if he ever feels threatened by certain speech. I see that you are threatened by this man’s statements, it doesn’t take much imagination to figure out why. The religious I know are more tolerant of atheistic statements than atheists are of religous ones. I find it highly ironic.

fishersofmen, Harvest time is here, its time to get our country back, so we need to pull all the weeds as we go. I dont care what country someone is from spying on our people, they dont need to be here. The type of actions this organization is showing has to come to a stop. Its bad enough our own Government says the “constitu” what, its just a silly pice of paper.. This is a forigen power being used on US soil against the people of our nation doing NOTHING wrong. So whats next, UN troops to push protesters around, and to throw them into camps permanately.
If the people used a group like this to gather info on the Gov they would claim that your a traitor and exacute you. This just go’s to show us how treasonus our Gov really is, and it gets worse by the day. I’m not happy with things either, but do you really believe the answer is to overthrow tyranny with tyranny, and do it in the name of God? Or do you believe the answer is found in politics? Either way, you are decieved if you believe the course of events can be changed. What does prophecy say will happen?…
Prophecy says that people such as yourself will become involved with politics, uniting the protestant churchs with the government, and enforce the mark of the Roman Church State, therefore “bringing this country back to God”. Don’t believe it? Just keep watching… Sure, there may be a few isolated groups that revolt against the oppression, but they will be dealt with swiftly, and harshly.

The actions of waving signs, protesting and screaming has accomplished spreading the word of what is happening in PA, and thus informing the rest of the country of what is happening. This will aide in growing the number of supporters against these actions of homeland security, hopefully keep it from spreading into other states and hopefully the growing number of supporters (in PA and other states) will kill its existence in PA.
So, the actions of protesting by the people in PA, you now know of this situation, yet you only type strong words on your computer. You will say…”hey, PA is not my state”, however that is the same thoughts of people during the rise of Nazi Germany…”hey, I am not a Jew, so why should I care”. What happens when this same kind of situation moves to NY, then Texas, then Ohio, and so on, and the populace of other states just say “hey, it’s not happening in my state” ? Let me see if I can recall recent transgressions without going into the archives: Pittsburgh G-20 overkill; the presence of fully-geared shock troops outnumbered protestors about 20 to l. But the same was probably true in Toronto this summer. PA was big on instituting any number of DHS goodies to catch the villanous evil doers. Bet they have those dang Amish farmers under control!

Being cash-strapped, no doubt Rendell will sell his highways and byways to the highest foreign bidder. (A real Philadelphia story hardly remembered was the bombing of the Move Organization’s dwellings in 1985. It was ordered by law enforcers, resulting in 11 deaths, including 5 children and the burning of the entire neighborhood. Move was a Black liberation organization.) Pennsylvanians don’t mess around with dissent of any color.
The war on terror has taken on many sidebar narratives. We in the know believe it is a ruse, a backdoor entrance for the New World Order. That order will not be denied. Based on similarities to the London bombing it seems there is a high possibility of a “False Flag” terrorism attack on PATCO, or even into the DC area.
There was a recent patdown of over 600 riders of the 5000 a day, with nothing being found. Then there was a release of info naming “Tea Party members” being named as possible terrorists. This “leak” seems to be a media setup for blaming the Tea Party for an attack.
Now as evidence in the London indicates at least one of the bombs was preplanted on the track, and not carried in back pack as media promoted as related by eye witness statement.
So this is highly suspicious that some interior group may setup PATCO by getting a drill run on the same day as an attack as happened in the London train bombing. As blaming it on the Tea Part might be highly advantageous to the International Bankers (bis.org) links in this direction to this potential attack.
So please help avoid an “October Suprise” designed to tilt the November US political process.

xd, we drove through PA twice, using different interstate highways and it was breathtaking! I loved the small, neat farms tucked into valleys and flat clearings between mountain ranges. The mass of trees was awsome. I am sure that part of PA is true-blue Americana, people just as patriotic and freedom loving as found on any Midwestern or Texas turf. Just to put it into perspective. It is sad to see great American cities like Pittsburgh and Philly being turned into armed camps under the faux umbrella of security. America the beautiful.

I’ve been talking with some Green Berets and police officers that train the SWAT teams about these incidents at the G-20 where a vehicle pulls up and men get out and grab someone off the street, put a bag over his head, and handcuff him and throw him in the back of the vehicle and drive away. They saw how upset I was about this and they appeared to be a little upset also.
Their response was if the vehicle had no official ID, if the men weren’t wearing identifiable uniforms, if they did not plainly and loudly announce that the person being bagged was under arrest, and read his Miranda Rights, then this is more like a kidnapping and thus illegal.
They said we would be justified in pulling our weapons and drawing down on, or shooting these kidnappers in the head and killing them.

I have often wondered how far and to what extent a citizens arrest can go. Attorney’s would know but would the crooked judges and police have citizens jailed and the fear and the implications of this has to be handeled by an Attoryey’s. People with money and on the side of real change in this country just are not there and are just a vein and pompus as the wealthier ones that they dispise. The difference is like night and day. The Tea Party has to give in to the wealthier because they don’t know ant thing else and are not creative enough to stand in the present without the past and create a future. You can not create a future based on the past and expect for anything to change.

The Israeli links to spying, 911 and Communications Monitoring are summed up in the Fox News program some time ago titled “Fox 911 The Israeli Connection” which can still be found online.
Although the video report describes arrests of Israeli persons, one needs to consider the phone tapping laws in the US. Although it would violate the laws designed to constrain our government because our government can not directly monitor normal phone calls between US to US phones, it makes a very convincing case that if our government turned a blind eye to our allies (such as Canada and Israel) who’s black ops organizations are doing the spying. By this manner the government could quite easily gain back-door clues and knowledge through those “unauthorized operations” and still maintain plausible deny-ability while it conducts some type of never ending investigation, should anything negative ever be uncovered.
You really have to keep up with these obscure news stories over a very long time to see the links. If one has any doubts as to the freedom destroying methods and desires some in power adhere to, one could pull a Mel Gibson and start printing and pinning these main stream news articles Alex so diligently posts to a wall and link them together with strings.
It’s is rare for the average person to care about, much less recall these stories, but it all depends on how much you care about your country’s freedom, and your ability to type GOOGLE into your address bar.

When people say, ” 9/11 was an inside job”, I do not disagree with em. OK. But…then ask, where specifically were the ‘insiders’. In what capacity were individuals holding strategic positions in different departments and inside certain agencies ? In what companies & corporation were positions held and by whom?
These peoples, these individual HAVE NAMES. By saying, ” well, the government did it “, that is not getting down to the details. And by saying thermite has been found……well, once again…this is not looking into companies that manufacture it, who the individuls are and what links they have. NAMES !
For example, people around the World blame “America” for many many things. The list is long and the details provide much backing for such claims. But….is every single American directly responsible for everything that goes on?

I too have heard your claims on the air. I differ from Jones in believeing that Israelis could most definitley have pulled it off. But, if Israeli government is a peacful nation, does not have any technological institutions and is basically living in the 18th century with no pull or influences in World affairs…then I suppose they could no way have pulled it off or been in the slightest involved.

And what vacuum would be created in a revolution in the US? How many different organizatons from different regions, including inside the US, different ‘governments’ would be eagerly awaiting this?
If a revolution takes hold and ‘government’ is somehow overthrown or a Mad Max scenario does take place……who or what exactly would be waiting in the wings to step in? It would be a fight for power and control; religious groups in-fighting..maybe racial divisions…maybe Mexican interests would be in the fray……Israeli interests…..criminals in ‘government’ would still be trying to maintain their status quo, etc
