lasting performance and outstanding reliability.

Their rugged mechanics have been developed
and tested to withstand extreme shock conditions
of 50 drops from 2 m / 6.6 ft to concrete, as well
as hundreds of common drops from 1 m / 3.3 ft,
with no degradation of reading performance or
accuracy.

The The Auto-Range versions of the cordless (M8300) and desktop (D8300) can read barcodes up to 33' away. The cordless version will connect up to 99' away from a Star (Datalogic RF transmitter) modem and up to 45' from the cradle.
