Mark Walters currently lives in Phoenix, Arizona. He started his real estate career in 1983 in the bay area of California. He began by investing in discounted mortgages with his father. Soon after, he received his real estate license. In 1985 he received his broker's license and opened his own residential real estate company. During this period, Mark also began purchasing small claims court judgments at incredible yields. In 1992 he moved to Phoenix to take advantage of the depressed real estate market due to the failed savings and loan industry. After buying and selling houses in Phoenix, he now only buys houses for his own portfolio. While still enjoying the judgment investing business, he and father Lloyd Walters opened a 3,000 square foot used bookstore. This was a dream of theirs that was finally fulfilled. It has been voted one of the best used bookstores in the state of Arizona. Mark now also invests in mobile homes and creative stock venturing.
Mark Walters has co-authored such books as, "The Complete Guide To Judgment Investing", "The Million Dollar Foreclosure System" and "How To Find All of The Discounted Mortgages You Could Ever Hope To Buy" to name a few.
