First and Unique 4-Channel Camera Style
Net DVR
i-Rec is a digital solution for controlling
surveillance system with the ability
to distribute one to more than a hundred
users to access within a local LAN or
from a remote position. An i-Rec consists
of three products.
The i-Rec Cam104 is a 4-channel camera
style DVR. It is more powerful and reliable
than existing DVRs, and it has a self-contained
HDD and Internet server.

i-Rec
Cam is a camera style DVR all-in-one
system with a Web server of embedded
Linux, a networking device, a CCD
module, and a recording storage device
of a 20GB HDD.
i-Rec
Cam alway prevents loss of data by
recording in its own storage in the
event that power is lost via its own
HDD of 20GB and a file management
system. And the storage capacity is
extendable by connecting an i-Rec
to another I-Rec device. Every i-Rec
shares its storage with others and
can be expanded with 4 external cameras,
even existing analogue CCTV cameras.
Images can be displayed up to 30 fps
by adopting the Wavelet algorithm
compress format and can transfer the
images over 15 fps providing a resolution
of 360 X 243 pixels.
 |
(The i-Rec is specially designed
with a unique system comprising
wavelet image compression, an
embedded Linux chip, and an embedded
file system. Patents are pending
in the United States, Japan, Europe,
and other countries.)
|
The i-Rec encompasses our core technologies
of Wavelet image compression, embedded
Linux development, an embedded file
system, and a system design integrating
our core technologies.
With
network connection, the i-Rec Cam104
can be used to monitor real time images
as well as replay recorded images.
By connecting the i-Rec Cam104 onto
a network, real-time and recorded
images can be viewed remotely through
its own browser. The i-Rec Cam104
prevents recorded data in its HDD
from being damaged in the event that
power is lost due to its embedded
file system. i-Rec Cam104 is a perfect
surveillance and recording system.
The i-Rec is a fully scalable system.
With WebGate Inc's Redistribution
Server (RDS), the i-Rec can be integrate
into a system that support more than
hundred channesl. The i-Rec can be
used whatever your security needs.

The
world smallest 4-ch. camera style
Net DVR i-Rec Cam104 is a 4-channel
camera style DVR (Digital Video Recorder)
of all-in-one system with a Web server
embedded Linux, a networking device,
a CCD camera and a 6 GB HDD.
|
|
DVR
with a built-in HDD i-Rec Cam104 records
images into its own 6 GB HDD at the
maximum speed of 60 frames (15 frames
per each channel) per second and protects
them most safely. Upgradeable to 20
GB. It always prevents recorded data
from being damaged in the event that
power is out suddenly. It is because
i-Rec Cam104 is equipped with a file
system ; the patent pending world
wide.
|
|
Off-line
Recording Even if you don't have DSL
(or any high-speed connection), the
i-RecCam104 can record the captured
images that are stored on its hard
drive, and you view these images from
your computer. To do this, simply
take the i-RecCam104 to a computer,
and through an Ethernet card installed
in the computer, you can view the
recorded images on the camera. If
the camera is either connected through
the high speed connection, or if it
is taken to a PC and viewed without
a high speed connection, a 10/100
base Ethernet card should be used.
|
|
Powerful
Image Compression i-Rec Cam104 utilizes
Wavelet that is a still image compressing
algorithm and more efficient than
JPEG by 30% to 300%. In addition,
i-Rec Cam104 is equipped with 32 bit
RISC CPU to make it more efficient
in image processing. It can compress
a 720 by 486 resolution to 50 Kb per
frame and a 360 by 243 resolution
to 3 Kb per frame; this means that
the integrity of your pictures is
smaller than any other web cameras
and can be viewed with highest speed
in the world. (Click for "How
to compute the speed")
|
|
External
Device Connection Variety of external
devices can be connected to i-Rec
Cam104, such as IR sensor, switch,
alarm relay and external CCTV cameras
(up to 3 units, easily through BNC
jacks). In combination with the programmable
alarm facilities, you can quickly
develop various security applications
that are triggered on time or alarm-based
events.
|
|
Simple
installation and various functions
Functional firmware of i-Rec Cam104
is saved in flash memory chip of 8MB
and can be upgraded remotely through
Internet. i-Rec Cam104 is designed
to have an RS-232 port to connect
external devices such as sensor, pan/tilt
mechanism, zoom lens and other digital
devices. All the external devices
can be controlled remotely.
|
|
DVR
security i-Rec Cam104, as a DVR(Digital
Video Recorder), has a separate software
"i-Rec Cam Viewer" to see
the pictures and to control the recording
program. (A software CD is included
in the package.) Up to 5 users can
access the camera simultaneouly and
see the pictures as long as those
users have the softwares installed
in their computers. But, only one
user can access the program and control
DVR. For examle, up to 4 security
guards can see the pictures from the
same camera on each computer at the
same time but just one manager can
work on the DVR program at a time.

|
i-Rec Server is a powerful server that
accumulates and processes enormous data
produced by large numbers of i-Rec Cams.
Working together with i-Rec Manager,
the i-Rec Server is a solution to operate
the overall performance most efficiently. |
|

|
|

|
|
- i-
Rec Viewer is a program to
control an i-Rec or multiples
of I-Rec Cams monitoring all
live or recorded images. Different
than WebEye, i-Rec Cam can
be connected through its own
browser.
- If
a system consisted of more
than four i-Rec Cams, every
i-Rec Cam can be monitored
through another separate i-Rec
Viewer.
|
|
|

|
|
 |
|
- i-Rec
Manager is a S/W for i-Rec
Server to manage a large number
of i-Rec Cams at the same
time. An i-Rec Manager is
to monitor the live or recorded
pictures taken by one or many
of the i-Rec Cams.. However
it is recommended to use i-Rec
Manager to increase the monitoring
efficiency. i-Rec Viewer is
adjustable for a relatively
small system with just a few
i-Rec Cams compared to i-Rec
Manager.
- i-Rec
Manager shows motion pictures
from lots of i-Rec Cams through
multiple sections in a screen
with the capability of rotating
points of all images as well
as presets. i-Rec Manager
is developed for middle or
large-scale systems with more
than 36 channels.
