Comments: Everything went ok, the only exception was a problem from the manufacturer. One of the teeth that hold the base and monitor together was bent and showing signs of stress manifested as a visible discoloration of the plastic. I had to straiten it carefully in order to make it fit the slot in the bottom of the monitor. Once I did this everything else went fine. ViewSonic should consider adding back that dollars worth of packing. Leaving a loose part in a carton is asking for trouble. While I did shop for the best price, I don't want to sacrifice quality for an additional dollars worth of extra padding. My error was selecting ground shipment. House Of Computers delivered an excellent product for a fair price. I WILL be doing business with them again in the very near future. Thank you House Of Computers Harold Foster

Comments: excellent service... they called me right away since there was a problem with my credit card, and when i called back the next day, the problem was fixed immediately. although it's ENTIRELY my fault, the service would be improved if they had asked what kind of system i'd be putting my purchase in. because my system is so old, i could get only 8 of the 30 gigs in the new hard drive i purchased from them - a totally unforseen mishap. overall... i look forward to shopping with them again.

Comments: Having never ordered from HOC, I was a tad skeptical. Adding to that was a difference in price listed on best vs. the price on HOC's site. Best price was lower and I added that note to a comments box during my order placement (as HOC suggests). HOC not only honored the lower price but I received my laptop hard disk very quickly. Comments: Pros: Good response time. Order was shipped out right away. The hard drive was package safely. The hard drive runs fine. Cons: A cable was added to the order, that I did not request, and a $4 charge was applied to my order that I did not expect. Also, the cable was not the right type. I ordered a 100 ATA hard drive which should use an 80 strand cable. They shipped a 40 strand cable. I know the difference. I did not contact House of Computers and request any corrections. Comments: This is the fifth time I have ordered from House of Computers and have always received the order in a timely fashion. The only complaint I would make is that in this instance, it was not specified on their web page whether they were offering a slot or tray loading DVD drive. I did not want the slot-loading model, but that is what I received. The drive works fine and is internally the same piece of hardware, I just don't like that the exact model is not specified on their site. This does not prevent me from recommending them; I would just want to know the exact part number in the future.
