TIME CHECKING

1. Once the batteries are loaded properly, it will begin to search for the WWVB signal and
the antenna icon will blink. If no signal is detected within 4 minutes, the antenna icon will
disappear.

2. It will search for WWVB at 1:00 am every day to verify and correct the time. Once the signal
is received successfully, the icon of the antenna will be displayed (solid) but if the signal
was not received the icon will not display.

BUTTON FUNCTION

1. By pressing the [MODE] button, the two groups alarm time will be displayed. While checking
the alarm time, hold the [MODE] button for two seconds to enter alarm time setting. Use the
[HR] button to set the value of hour, use the [MIN] button to set value of minutes, and use
the [ALM] button to turn on or turn off the alarm function.

2. While in normal time display mode, hold the [MODE] button for two seconds to enter time setting 
mode. First the character of year will blink, use the [YEAR] button to set the value of year, then
press the [MODE] button and the character of month and date will blink, use the [MONTH] and [DATE]
buttons to set the value of month and date respectively. Press the [SEC] button to set the value
of seconds to zero.

3. While in normal time display mode, press the [ZONE] button choose one of the four time zones.

4. While in normal time display mode, press the [DST] button to turn on or turn off the daylight
saving time function.

5. While in normal time display mode, the two temperature formats (centigrade and Fahrenheit)
will be switched from each other by holding the [C/F] button for two seconds. Use the [C/F] button
to choose one of the three display modes (clock with date, clock with temperature, clock with 
alternating date and temperature.)

6. While in normal time display mode, hold the [WAVE] button for two seconds to activate the
RCC function, while in the signal detecting process, press the [WAVE] button to stop the process.

7. While the alarm is going off, press the [SNOOZE] button to activate the snooze function, the
[zZZ] icon will appear at the same time.

IMPORTANT

1. On a few occasions, the LCD display or button function might be abnormal (for instance due to
interfearance from unwanted magnetic fields). To correct this, simply remove and replace the 
batteries until it is ok.

2. Please replace the batteries when the LCD display is dim or faded. Keep the batteries out of 
reach of children.

3. For best effect, it is recommended to place this unit in or near a window and away from devices
that may cause electrical or magnetic interfearence.
