Flattering Me Bra Sizing Instructions

Finding the perfect strapless bra is right at your fingertips!  Designer Coco Abadi has created a patented long line strapless bra that gives support, cleavage and confort all at the same time.  It is does not show through most bridal gowns, it contours the body and is perfect for wedding dresses that have low bustlines and backs.  It is important to measure yourself and follow the sizing instructions below to achieve the perfect size and fit.  Do not rely on measurements taken in the past or the bra size you think you wear, as the Flattering Me bra accounts for three very important factors- correct bra size, waist measurement and length of torso.

FACT: Did you know that 70% of women in the world wear the wrong size bra? We all know that the most important feature of any bra is the fit, and yet many women go through life wearing the wrong bra size. The mistake many women make is to settle for a bra that's close enough, rather than finding one that's perfect. It's very important to wear a properly fitting bra not only for comfort, but also for your health. A properly fitting bra can alleviate strain on the back and shoulders as well as keeping the breast tissue from breaking down.

Three Steps to Finding Your Correct Size
1.  Find the perfect fit for the regular bra size you should wear every day.
2.  Compare your waist measurements to the Flattering Me Waist measurement chart
3.  Determine the length of your torso - Standard or Petite

 1.  Find Your Perfect Fit Bra
* Measure over the skin (not over clothing) with a regular unpadded bra
* For greatest accuracy have a seamstress or wedding professional measure you

#1: Measure Underbust

Keep the tape parallel to the floor (straight across), making sure that the tape is flat over your skin and not loose. Pull the tape measure tight to ensure an accurate measurement. If you are measuring yourself, we recommend standing in front of a mirror to make sure the tape measure is parallel to the floor. Before you read the number on the tape measure, make sure your arms are down and your shoulders relaxed.

Measure over the fullest part of your bustline and keep the tape parallel to the floor (straight across). This time, don't pull the tape measure tight, just make sure it's not loose. Again, before you read the number on the tape measure, remember to have your arms down and your shoulders relaxed.

Remember that bustlines differ in terms of the volume, shape and spacing of the breast, and underbusts differ in terms of volume and shapes too. You should keep in mind that a tape measure alone cannot always give you accurate results. If you feel that the size calculated is correct, then proceed with step #2.

3.  Length of Torso  - Standard or Petite
The meaning of Petite has been confused through the years. People think that Petite means skinny and short, and that is not true, the word Petite means short torso.  In general most of the Petite people are short, but you could be 5'8" and still have a short torso with long legs.

YOU are best person to know if you have a Petite torso or not
#1:  Do you sometimes buy petite blouses and they fit you better?
#2:  When you try fitted dresses or blouses, does the fabric in front (below your bustline)
get loose and baggy?  That's because it is too long for your torso.
#3:  View yourself in front of a mirror and see if you have a short torso and your hips are high
